What I learned from this chapter, is the importance of
visual aids and how significant their impact is inside the business setting. It
is essential to know that time is very valuable in a perspective of a company
so every single moment that is spent in the cumulative schedule should be
utilized to the be as efficient as it could possibly be. So every meeting must
be as efficient and effective as possible because everyone that is
participating has their own agenda filled with tasks and responsibilities to
tend to, so every moment that is wasted in a meeting is taking away from each
person accomplishing their goals. The importance of visuals, displays, models,
and more are great because in order for some people to concentrate and get the
point of a meeting they would need to be captured by a visual that helps paint
a picture in their mind on what they need to do. Having a picture painted in
one’s mind of an idea usually makes it harder to forget that idea.
